Our client, a leading fortune company is looking for ETL Developer/Analyst. This is for an initial duration of 6 months located in Milwaukee, WI.

  • ETL Analyst/Developer is responsible for defining and applying a systematic, disciplined, and quantifiable approach for database projects and initiatives from a variety of non-standard sources.
  • They stay current on specific data technology platforms and tools, as well as best practices in the industry.
  • Senior Data Integration Specialists apply knowledge and standard operating procedures to produce quality and accurate work on behalf of our clients and internal agency initiatives. Overall, we see them as experts and the go-to source for data-related information and know-how.
  • Work with the Analysts and business leaders to get a solid understanding of the domain, current state of technology and the strategic directions that is guiding future efforts
  • Create automated reusable processes to profile data, resolve inconsistencies in data, and help Data Analysts document the findings
  • Build metrics and rules to standardize the data while loading data into target environments and develop exceptions\alerting mechanisms to alert Analysts
  • Troubleshoot, optimize and tune ETL processes and provide guidance to other team members
  • Create, execute and document test plans based on system and validation requirements
  • Working with various IT teams to analyze data in the data warehouse, data mart or operational systems as needed
  • High-velocity, high quality delivery techniques based on data and reporting solutions; including automated testing and continuous builds.
  • Define and ensure compliance to standards and best practices for development including change management, release management, & source code control.
  • Problem solving / troubleshooting experience /skills to assist in issue resolution
Specialized Training: SQL, VBA, R, HTML, Java, JSON, Ruby

  • Uses data standards and processes, and applies critical thinking skills, for effective implementation of owned projects ranging from tactical communications to data technology platforms to analytics platforms.
  • Leads and/or aids in the creation and maintenance of customer data feeds, managed databases, Marketing Automation, CRM solutions and other data systems.
  • Interacts with internal and external clients, as needed, to interpret and define data project requirements
  • Leads or contributes thoughts on process improvements to better the agency's interaction and performances with internal teams, vendor partners and clients.
  • Participates in weekly status meetings along with Direct Marketing Activators and/or Analysts to discuss projects needing attention
  • Keeps Lead Data Integration Specialist appraised of personal workload through organized touch base meetings
  • Serves as a leader to service the data needs of a client's marketing plan or individual project
  • Stays current on industry best practices through both self-discovery work and participation in industry learning opportunities.
  • Applies knowledge to guide and produce quality and accurate data initiatives for on behalf of our client base or new business initiatives.
  • Responsible for the production of standard operating procedures
  • Practices strong quality control measures to ensure accuracy of the data and optimal performance
  • Creates and/or uses needed project documentation and helps to make recommendations for additional documentation
  • Leads group meetings as appropriate.
  • Assist in the collection and storage of campaign results and customer activity across multiple channels for the agency measurement and analysis initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year College or university; and related experience.
