Job Description:
  • ·         Provides 1st level 24/7 break-fix support for IT hardware as specified by or utilized in customer    environment
  • ·         This is a pure break/fix opening supporting HP/IBM/Dell servers in a data center environment.
  • ·         Certified in hardware repair is desired.
  • ·         Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills required.
  • ·         Analyzes, diagnoses, and troubleshoots hardware/server issues with focus on responsiveness
  • ·         Provides problem resolutions.
  • ·         Maintains inventory and documentation of activity.
  • ·         Escalates more complex issues to 2nd level.
  • ·         Pure hardware break/fix support for HP, IBM, Lenovo, Oracle, Dell servers.
  • ·         Identify, analyze, and repairs product failures.
Experience and Skills Required:
  • ·         Problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • ·         CompTIA A+ and/or Server+ certification a plus.
  • ·         Self-management skills
  • ·         Ability to prioritize tasks
  • ·         Capacity to effectively communicate verbally and in writing  
Qualifications:
  • ·         HS diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience servicing hardware as specified or utilized in customer environment.
  • ·         Certifications (List type or level) A+, Network +, Server + strongly desired. 
  • ·         Familiarity with ticket-tracking software.
