Job Description
  • In conjunction with all team members within the organization, focuses on creating an organization capable of delivering genuine value to customers.
  • Performs quality checks visually or with the use of gauges and/or measuring devices. Participates in safety training.
  • Accountable for safe work practices according to plant safety policies and procedures.
  • Contributes and participates on a work team including maintaining and analyzing team performance metrics as directed by Team Coordinator or Technical Associate.
  • Performs semi-skilled production activities, production support activities, and clerical activities necessary to receive components, fabricate and assemble products and package and ship complete goods to meet production and quality objectives.
  • Utilizes individual and team efforts, identify existing and/or potential operation problems, generate possible solutions, evaluate those solutions through decision analysis, recommend optional solution and implement that solution with approval.
  • Maintains and cleans equipment, facility and grounds using necessary supplies, tools, equipment or vehicle.
  • Keeps counts, inventory status, records or reports on parts, components, and supplies either manually or through the use of a personal or host computer.
  • Operates material handling equipment and mechanical equipment including a lift truck or car in order to deliver, pickup, load, unload or move and/or sort parts.
  • Participates on line balancing activities and documentation of those activities. Performs special project work as needed.
Specific Position Requirements:         
Job Duties:
  • Physical counting of parts, blueprint reading, and basic data entry in a web based system.
  • Worker will also be driving a forklift, so experience is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment.
  • Need candidates who can work independently and keep themselves motivated.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment, performing cycle counts, inventory and data entry experience is required.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Hours will be 8am-4:30pm with OT not typically available.
