Our client, a leading fortune company is looking for an Image Editor. This is for an initial duration of 12 months and is located in Beaverton, OR.
Description:
- Seeking an Image Editor to create dynamic product imagery.
- You will work across multiple categories using data, product, material, color and graphic information in a high volume and fast-paced production environment.
- Qualified candidates will be technical, creative, flexible and capable of playing well with others.
Responsibilities:
- Use Photoshop and Illustrator as digital authoring tools in the creation of product imagery
- Digitally create 'true-to-life” volumetric and lighting effects that match photographic elements for realism and accuracy
- Convert 2D vector art files into photo-real image assets that match photographic elements for realism and accuracy
- Maintain the highest level of quality control of digital and analog deliverables for consistency, accuracy, and completeness against brand standards
- Work with lead / manager to maintain and update standardized processes, training and tutorials in support of post-production process evolution
- Assist management in ensuring consistency and continuity across a diverse body of work
- Assist lead in workflow management, delegation, and problem solving
- Work closely with Licensed Apparel Producer to identify image requirements, participate in digital pre-pro's, review merchandise, etc.
- Ensure customer and stakeholder satisfaction with product imagery
- Track and ensure fulfillment of image requests & on-time delivery
- Maintain image production tools (workflow management system, automation, and tracking) by ensuring digital images travel through appropriate channels correctly (such as: local directories, automation servers, final staging servers, archives, etc.)
Qualifications / Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a post-production role
- Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art, Design, Digital Arts or related field
- 2+ years additional experience in lieu of degree
- Retail product knowledge and/or experience preferred, but not required
- Strong technical understanding of imaging and imaging workflows
- High-volume compositing/retouching in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Advanced knowledge of color and digital color application
- Knowledge of image automation via scripting tools or applications
- Advanced skill level in creating custom actions within Photoshop and Mac OS
- Deep knowledge of current imaging technologies
- Self-motivated, results oriented and well organized
- Able to successfully manage multiple priorities against business goals
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must be curious, fun and calm under pressure
