Human Resources Coordinator

Our client, a leading healthcare insurance company is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator. This is for an initial duration of 3 months and is located in Melville, NY
 
Contract- 3 months with possible extension and/or conversion

The HR Admin is responsible for :
  • Organizing the Bi-weekly Frame sale General HR inquiries Interview scheduling Monthly newsletter Set up Trainings Scheduling wellness programs Assist in New Hire Orientation Background checks for 1099 employees Process invoices HR events calendar And generally assist the Manager, HRBP, Senior Recruiter and Comp analyst with various projects The person should be proficient in word and excel and good at power point. Agile, fast learner and proactive.
Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:
  • One to two years of high level administrative experience servicing multiple requestors
  • Knowledge of Human Resources general practices and principles
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to preserve confidentiality of information and work with a minimum of direction
  • In-depth knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications
  • Type 40 wpm
  • Testing Requirements
  • Typing
