Job Title: Business Analyst III
Location: Bridgewater, NJ
Duration: 6 Months
The overall purpose of this role is to define business needs, document them and recommend solutions that deliver value to business stakeholders. This individual will support projects that will enhancement our capabilities in the Multi-channel Marketing and Digital space and will interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, including ITS Business Partners, Marketing support functions, and Brand teams from our Client Global Business Units (GBUs). As examples, this individual should:
Be thoroughly versed in the digital ambitions of Client brands and enterprise MCM strategy. Understand the levers that drive our business
Work with stakeholders, and ensure that all projects have clear requirements that are well supported with use cases.
Is able to comfortably lead requirements gathering sessions with a range of constituencies and hierarchies within Client.
Have knowledge of various Digital Channels (such as Web, Email, SMS,Webinar) and their marketing potential
The Digital + MCM Global Solution Center (GSC) aims to become a trusted partner with Marketing and this role supports that mission.
Extract, Gather and Document requirements: Via in-person conversations, email, other interactions, and secondary research, this individual will ascertain the business needs for a project.
Anticipate requirements: The rate of change in the digital space is fast and business plans are subject to modification. Uncovering or forecasting needs or that have not yet been considered is essential to successfully building strong solutions.
Verify, Organize, and Rationalize requirements: After collecting extensive and sometimes disparate business needs, a comprehensive exercise to de-dup, aggregate and prioritize them into a formal, final requirements list. By being intimately familiar with the business case, they are in the best position to verify the requirements with senior stakeholders when necessary.
Translate Business Needs to Technical Requirements: It is important that all strategic business imperatives are matched with practical technical solutions. Work closely with the Architecture team, to ensure clear understanding of the requirements and technical design reflects the end business goals.
Create or Oversee Project Requirements Documents: Depending upon the project, either develop or manage others in the creation BRDs (Business Requirements Documents) or Func Specs (Functional specifications), ensuring their accuracy and thoroughness.
Develops Test Cases: Drive the final testing of assets by confirming that they meets the functional requirements and a "gold” standard of quality via creating UAT (User Acceptance Testing) scripts. Write scripts based on the functional specifications and support the overall UAT process by explaining and clarifying any requirements. Participate in executing test cases.
Incredibly detailed oriented and able document meetings and requirements to a very fine and unambiguous level of specificity
Able to map business requirements to technical and functional requirements
Deep analytical and problem solving skills
3+ years of experience working in digital channels
5+ years relevant work experience in business analysis and a solid understanding of digital marketing fundamentals
Able to work in a global environment including the ability to maintain global relationships and understand different business models that may vary by region and business unit.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree
