Summary:   Responsible for the administration of all aspects of the payroll process.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:                  

  • Responsible for the set-up, maintenance and administration of information in the payroll system.
  • Reviews and approve payroll adjustments daily.
  • Transmit payroll files on a weekly basis
  • Perform audit procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Serve as point of contact for all pay related questions. These may be complex questions that involve investigation and research to determine resolution.
  • Prepare pay checks for distribution following established protocols.
  • Maintain payroll file for each pay period including all relevant paperwork.
  • Assist managers with training and utilization of the payroll system.
  • Process paperwork regarding payroll and attendance transactions in accordance with guidelines.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on payroll system.
  • Prepare pay calculations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information.
 
Requirements:

Education:
        
High school diploma or equivalent.


Experience:       
Four years of administrative experience; payroll and\or human resources experience preferred.
                         
Skills:
             
  • Intermediate MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Basic knowledge of federal and state laws regarding pay regulations
  • Strong analytical, multi-tasking and attention to detail required.
     Proactive customer service and follow-up skills.
