Technical Recruiter Senior - performs a variety of professional and administrative functions including researching, interviewing, screening and referring job candidates for job openings. Identifies necessary job duties, qualifications and skills for job openings. Performs background checks. Reviews and recommends qualified candidates for open positions. Develops effective working relationships with placement agencies, colleges, technical schools and job fairs. Evaluates qualified candidates through the internet resumes from job boards and through advance resume search techniques. Ensures effective communications with Program Managers and administrative staff. Responsible for the integrity of the Personal History File (PHF) to be given to the operating department within assigned department. Leads team member for department to provide work direction and completion of assignments. Guides, trains and develops less experienced staff in area of expertise. Performs other qualified duties as assigned.

Strong telephonic and virtual (i.e. internet-based) communication skills. Understanding of recruiting field, technical requirements and ability to match candidates. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft applications. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments, work with little supervision and work well under pressure. Working knowledge of employment laws.

Six (6) or more years' experience working in recruiting environment that is specialized to the department's area is required. Aviation-industry recruiting experience is required.

Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or equivalent experience - two (2) years' experience for each year of the four (4) year degree.
