Major purpose: Contract Administrator will review contract documents to verify and update data in virtual contract management system and database - This database will include, but will not be limited to, names of the parties, general terms, payment terms, and contract term.
Major functions: Review contract records, research shared drive for existing documents and make sure the contract company profile required fields are up to date.

Review saved documents and merge document trees to create hierarchies when needed.

Communicate with business leads to gather vendor contact information, financial information and project information

Ensure accuracy and completeness of contract profile
Technical/Functional skills: Must have some knowledge of basic contract principles

Experience working in a software interface platform with data entry background
Education/Experience/Licenses etc.: Some college experience preferred
Additional Job Requirements
  The selected contract consultant will negotiate and archive supplier contracts. S/he will be responsible for providing interpretation of terms and conditions of contractual obligations as well as negotiate contract
modifications, revisions and terms and conditions with suppliers.
Responsible for execution and management of Procurement related contracts;
including new master agreements, amendments, extensions, Statements of Work,
etc
Responsible for assisting business units with contract negotiation
Support Supply Chain staff (Sourcing team, Procurement team) on contracts as
needed,
Responsible for utilizing and enforcing Client' enterprise contract management tools, templates, processes and policies
Acts as the primary contact between the business units and Client' Legal
department and Enterprise Contract Management; ensuring that all legal and
contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly. Understand and
ensure adherence to Client legal and contract standards. Ensure escalation to Client
Legal on complex legal matters as appropriate.
Assist Client business units by presenting contractually negotiated terms (eg
contract templates) and advising teams on how to work within internal systems,
ensuring minimal legal and financial risk to Client
Administer contracts in accordance with Client policies and procedures, provide
interpretation and analysis of contract documents and review and evaluate
customer request for changes in, or revisions of, contracts that involve
technical specifications, cost or schedule impact to Client
Responds to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an
in-depth evaluation of variable factors and exercise judgment in selecting
methods and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Constantly prioritize workload and provide clear and accurate direction to
business partners as it relates to contracts, company objectives and timeline
for completing tasks
Identifies risks and issues; suggests alternatives that lead to the best
solution
Assist with the development, implementation and education about supply chain
contract processes and procedures
Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance,
modifications, etc. in conjunction with Enterprise Contract Management
Prepares contract summaries (including cost, risks, term, etc) for contracts
prior to execution by senior leadership, as needed
