Primary Objective(s):
  • The Vendor Relations associate role will play a crucial role in ensuring that their assigned GAPRS court researchers and clerks provide services to clients efficiently and accurately.
  • This role will consist of working daily with the researchers and clerks via phone and email to manage outstanding orders.
  • Research policies and procedures of various courts and counties and share those items as needed with their manager.
  • Utilize their own judgment making skills to determine how to process incomplete case details and/or orders in the most time efficient manner possible.
  • Communicate with court clerks in order to confirm the accuracy of our researchers updates and results.
  • Corporate Counsel/Fraud & Investigations/Vendor Relations
Key Responsibilities:
  • Call courts to confirm the accuracy of details provided by our researchers.
  • Connect daily with researchers for updates on outstanding orders. Encourage and hold vendors accountable to use automated website features in order to be able to pro-actively inform our clients of delays.
  • Train and refresh researchers on existing/new policies and procedures, discuss court and county structures with researchers and communicate those details with the Vendor
  • Relations Supervisor as needed.
  • Maintain kick out statistics and encourage vendors to accurately submit work each time so that unnecessary delays are not encountered.
  • Partner with researchers and evaluate time service, quality issues, and more and communicate those to the Vendor Relations Supervisor.
  • Process outgoing/incoming mail.
  • Work on specific state projects as time allows.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Must have a good phone skills.
  • Must exercise good judgment skills to determine whether a researcher is providing accurate details.
  • Must have good writing skills.
  • Ability to try new strategies when on the phone with clerks and/or candidates to gain their interest in GAPRS.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and willingness to participate in Excel training preferred.
  • Able to be creative and persistent in pursuing and connecting with hard to reach vendors in low populated areas.
