The position as the Director of Business Development Manager at Talent Options requires a person who is passionate, entrepreneurial, process oriented and consistently closing their own business and is responsible for the successful business development in the US and assigned region to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.

This person will directly report into one of the Partners at Talent Options.
- This person will partner with the MD/Partner in the development of the annual sales forecast and annual sales and marketing plans for their region;
- Applies extensive experience in major account development, direct sales, and sales management;
- Disciplined in using our internal process;
- Listens well; Good problem solver;
- Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills
- Relates well to prospects, customers, third-party business partners, fellow TO employees, and senior management.

Responsibilities
  • Develop regional sales strategies
  • Generate and close new business opportunities in either of the verticals (Full Time, Direct Consulting or MSP/VMS)
  • Co-develop and align with achievement of sales targets with the Managing Directors
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors
  • Participate in regular business development team meetings and one-on-one meetings with the National Director of Development
  • Attend conferences across the US to bring new business leads & maintain existing contacts
Accountabilities
  • Co-developed and delivered annual and quarterly sales forecasts on time
  • Post sales goals every week and prospecting action plans every month
  • Ensure sales goals are exceeded
  • Consistently receive outstanding positive feedback from TO clients and partners
  • Work with minimal supervision and remained focused on performing this job description successfully
  • Receive excellent performance reviews from supervisor

Ideal Experience and Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in business-related field; master's degree is a plus
  • Over five seven years' experience as a salesperson selling in a related staffing industry
  • Strong knowledge of staffing and recruiting markets
  • Very skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Worked in a small businesses or entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Good business sense
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • The position requires travel 25-50% of the time.
