Job Description:
This position of Senior Manager, Display Media is an opportunity for the right individual to have a key impact on a major internet brand and distributor of digital content.
We are seeking an analytic and highly motivated individual to join our acquisition marketing team. As the Senior Manager, Digital Media, you will be given the opportunity to make an impact on a major internet brand and distributor of digital audio content. You will identify and implement digital marketing strategies to increase membership and anfoster engaged subscribers, base by working with all aspects of online marketing, but utilizing display media and , podcasting and online video channels. You will lead both creative development and media strategies to deliver channel growth and efficiency goals. You will manage several external agency relationships as well as the management and oversight of our ad serving and tag management platforms.

the Director of Paid Media and lives within the Marketing group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Develop acquisition marketing strategies and execute digital media campaigns from inception through maintenance and optimization
  • Serve as primary lead with multiple external media agencies to plan, develop and execute online traffic driving opportunities
    Drive advanced digital marketing strategies, such as:
    o Leveraging understanding of native media consumption habits and behaviors of customers (segments) to reach the right customer at the right time in the right place
  • Develop customer and prospect Segmentation strategies
  • Create testing opportunities for media, creative and landing experiences to drive performance and testing
  • Using a range of engagement tactics to drive from awareness to conversion. Understand methods for tracking and reporting including options for attribution models

    Work across several creative agencies to develop new display banner ads and ad copy; design and develop effective landing pages that maximize conversion. Continuously A/B test and monitor performance.
  • Participate in content-driven cross channel campaigns to drive leads and direct member acquisition.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness by tracking and monitoring key performance indicators including impressions, clicks, take rates, conversion rates and CPA.
  • Continuously manage, optimize and reallocate investment according to channel performance
  • Ensure overall Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) is profitable and continuously improving
  • Maintain and influence process for weekly reporting infrastructure, including performance tracking, analysis and forecasting


Required Skills:
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of digital mediaonline marketing acquisition tactics including various pricing models, data usage for segmentation and targeting, remarketing strategies and customized messaging
  • Passionate about analytics with ability to interpret data and make business recommendations.
    Perform marketing campaign analysis to identify most efficient channels and segments based on quality of customers acquired.
  • Experience with ad serving tools and tag management platforms
  • Experience with multivariate and A/B testing
    Passionately analytical with ability to interpret data and make business recommendations.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation skills
  • Highly motivated with ability to thrive in a fluid and demanding environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management/prioritization skills
  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Omniture desired
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, charts)
