  • The Associate Marketing Specialist works on the planning and implementation of projects that support the Product Marketing Function.
  • Interacts directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities, prepares regular marketing activity reports and responds to questions from the sales organization and customers.
  • Able to work individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling, planning projects, estimating costs, and managing projects to completion.
  • May identify, evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives.
  • Provides pre- and post-sale marketing support to the field.
  • Support product-related marketing collateral development, execution, and tracking including assistance with proofing/editing, remediation of literature, and Med Review. Update, manage, and maintain distribution via Sales Portal, print, and other channels.
  • General sales support: Answer commonly asked questions and direct sales force to correct contact for more information.
  • Manage the shared RS inbox. Backup finance with Business Review requests.
  • Assist with sales engagement and sales execution programs, which may include local, regional or national meetings, communications, and coordination with other groups
  • Conventions support: Asset development, booth set-up/takedown, customer event scheduling, communications, and PAVE system management
  • Product launch tactical support (device allocations, metric tracking/dashboard)
  • Product management support including supply chain activities and documentation.
  • Assist with communications for tracking product retrievals resulting from 3R and/or FCAs.
  • Research and information-gathering.
  • Assist with market research as needed, conduct searches on competitive information through the web and various data tools.
  • Build and manage a documented repository of competitive information.
  • Equipment management requests (nexframe/star drive demos, MedEd Courses, Leadpoint...other)
  • Working knowledge of DBS therapy and products
  • Ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable.
  • Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high quality work.

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Prior experience in the pharma or medical device field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to exercise sound judgment and work efficiently without significant supervision.
  • Strategic thinking skills
  • Strong computer and computer application skills essential. (Knowledge of Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint)
  • Strong aptitude for learning technical product line and working in complex, fast-paced environment
  • Natural ability to work with people at various levels and diverse backgrounds
  • Ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable.
  • Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high quality work.
  • Preferred degree in sciences or other demonstrated proficiency for technical aptitude
