Senior Sales Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer, that has a unique combination of technical savvy and business acumen. You will actively participate in the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working closely with our sales & product teams to drive new sales opportunities.

The key areas of responsibility will include:
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations and presentations
  • Demonstrate the software suite with a mastery of the relevant use cases and the ability to tailor the conversation and presentation style to meet the needs of the attendees.
  • Build proof-of-concepts, and custom product environments to showcase the product
  • Assist with the preparation and data staging of the demonstration environments
  • The elimination of technical objections from prospects in the sales cycle.
  • Represent the product to prospects and customers at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
  • Respond and contribute to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Keep current with technology trends and understand the competitive landscape
  • Shaping the discussion and positioning the software's current features set as the right solution to meet the prospect's needs
  • Eliciting expert knowledge of the software, the market, and use cases.
  • Providing pre and post sales technical support for engagements.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as reasonably required.
  • 5+ years of customer facing experience as a Sales/Support Engineer, Implementation Specialist, or Solutions Architect in an enterprise SaaS or technical sales environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong presentation skills
  • VMS or Staffing Industry knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical and/or creative background is a plus
  • Ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Highly effective customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to travel
