The procurement Analyst supports global and regional businesses and functions by providing analytics and reporting of external supplier spend. The data will be used to drive transparency of spend and recommend actions t reduce/optimize our supplier base and ensure strong governance and adherence to policy/procedures. The role also requires strong co-ordination and collaboration with a team of developers who produce customized dashboards and reporting using Tableau as the Business Intelligence Tool.
  • Drive business decisions by providing thorough data analytics and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends.
  • Develop data presentation, visualizations, and other approaches to drive identification of issues, trends, opportunities, or decision points
  • Lead requirements collection, analysis, definition, and documentation activities, assisting in defining and prioritizing content. Defining, designing, and developing reports and dashboards for all user groups including executives.
  • Work directly with the category managers in Procurement to identify opportunities and define requirements to deliver information for enhanced analysis and data-driven decision-making
  • Work with the Tableau developer/users to streamline and/or automate Tableau report creation and customization.
  • Work with business users to analyze BI and reporting requirements, develop value-added BI solutions, and produce a variety of reports and dashboards.
  • Recommend and develop new metrics and analyses to uncover new insights.
  • Strong analytical skills to formulate a well-developed set of metrics relating to both category and supplier spend.

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Experience using BI Tools (specifically Tableau)
