Job Title: Business Operations Manager - 3

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and analytical leader to own the management of new and ongoing operations partnerships scaling client around the world.
The role will be on the Plus Field Operations team, which manages Plus home visits (home inspections & professional photography). This person will develop and execute a strategy to scale operations globally using external vendors while maintaining a high quality of home inspections and photography in line with Plus standards. This person will manage Plus' end-to-end partner operations, including selecting partners, creating mutually-beneficial deal terms, onboarding vendors, and ensuring continuous success.
The ideal candidate will not only be analytical, but also have a deep understanding of scaled operations supported by product and technology, as well as experience in creating and managing successful partnerships over time. They will have the ability to communicate across levels from specialists to executives and work with a team ranging in skillsets and seniority. The candidate must be comfortable interfacing directly with partners and hosts to gain feedback on the programs they create.
Plus is a new, high-visibility and constantly-changing product, so the candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.
Develop a scalable field operations strategy for Plus, including how to onboard partners to grow operations
Own the strategy for a globally distributed partner-based workforce, developing and executing a playbook to expand the program globally while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and scalability
Selecting high-performing partners that will meet our requirements in the short- and long-term
Structuring partnerships and deals in mutually-beneficial ways to client and external vendors
Work with cross-functional teams in Finance and Corporate Development to structure deals in a way that maximize success for Airbnb Plus in the long-term
Ensuring continued success of each vendor relationship by setting up iterative feedback loops
Develop processes and manage relationships with vendors to parse data and content from in-home walkthroughs and professional photography sessions
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis and reporting and deliver insights to broader team
Work closely with a multiple cross-functional partners, including product, product marketing, engineering, design, research, data science, FP&A, legal, and global on the ground operations
5-7+ years experience in global operations managing operationally-driven processes at large scale leveraging product and technology
Direct experience building a strategy, launching it, and scaling it globally
Ability to clearly develop and document processes; experience working with large-scale operational partners is a strong plus
Ability to develop a strategy, communicate it clearly and get buy-in and support to execute
Ability to work within a matrix, solve problems and influence cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills; ability to coach and manage others and clearly share insights with cross-functional team through both written and verbal presentations
Excellent analytical skills; competency in spreadsheets is a must; familiarity with SQL a strong plus
Passion for client, travel and the sharing economy. Being a host on client is a plus!.
