We are looking for our second network engineer to take a key role on deployment and maintenance of our network infrastructure.
Our network is heavily based on Arista equipment. Currently our main projects are setting up a new collo and expanding on our current infrastructure. We are proud to use dynamic routing and the position will require in depth knowledge of BGP and OSPF.

Duties also include:
Maintain network and bring new connections up.
Maintain Palo Alto Firewalls.
Execute change management according to documented procedures
Set up new connections with different data partners and clients.
Apply best practices and necessary upgrades.
Participate on DR Tests.
Interact with other tools to Automate tasks as much as possible through the development of test and monitoring scripts.
Network Benchmarks and performance tests.
Participate on a on call rotation schedule.

Required Skills:
Arista Switches configuration
Proven experience with Dynamic Routing (OSPF/BGP).
Positive attitude
Participate on a second level on call rotation schedule.
Network scalability planning and best practices.
Knowledge on Financial Markets Data. In depth Multicast Data knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Positive attitude.
Knowledge on collocation deployment and cross connects.
Scripting and Bash Shell knowledge.
In depth knowledge transport protocols, routing protocols, and security/authentication protocols at all layers of the OSI model with emphasis on IPV4 are essential.
Must have knowledge networking features and protocols such as spanning tree, ARP, CDP, OSPF, BGP, Etherchannel, 802.1Q trunking, Arista VARP/MLAG, HSRP, QoS, multicast, 802.03, IPsec, RADIUS, SNMP, LACP, CPD, LLDP.
Experience troubleshooting Windows and Linux networking issues.
Ability to learn new things quickly, and need minimal direction.
Hands on experience with Layer 7 Firewalls and IDS
