Personal Computer Technician
Job Summary:
This Personal Computer Technician coordinates efforts to provide support to the PCs, printers and other hardware on the Client Network, through the Client Health System campus and remote sites.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Administers network systems campus-wide
2. Performs other tasks as assigned by management
3. Provides technical support and troubleshooting of network systems
4. Provides weekly report of system problems and changes, department issues, and other occurrences that are out of the ordinary to manage
5. Troubleshoots problems in hardware devices including, but not limited to: terminals, modems, printers, and communication devices
6. Supports a comprehensive (and ongoing) inventory of all assigned hardware devices
7. Coordinates any maintenance for assigned hardware devices
8. Installs and tests new equipment
9. Coordinates implementation of repaired items and certifies operational capacity
10. Drives to remote sides to perform technical support

Education:
High School Diploma or GED is required. Associate's degree in computer science or data communication is required. In lieu of the degree requirements, additional years of experience will be accepted.
Experience:
With Associate's degree: 3 years of experience in data communication problem resolution and services is required.
Without an Associate's degree: 5 years of experience in data communication problem resolution and services is required.
Experience:
Must possess a working knowledge of all types of data communications equipment, as is the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel while under extreme pressure.
