Job Description:

Client is growing and thriving, and we're ready to add a little sophistication to our resource mapping to take us to the next level. The Resource Manager is responsible for introducing new practices, tools and metrics to determine how to make our team as efficient and effective as possible, and really putting their stamp on our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand current, pending and future workload, and map a plan to appropriate resources accordingly
  • Hold weekly meetings with Creative Leadership to provide status on resourcing, upcoming assignments, and obstacles to resolve
  • Manage team vacation calendars and coverage
  • Assess current structure, tools and processes, and develop a proposal for how to improve resource operations
  • Manage resource obstacles that arise on a day-to-day basis
  • Provide regular reporting to Creative and Marketing Leadership on resource burn rate and bandwidth
  • Show proven results of improved processes, project planning and workload efficiencies
  • Maintain a positive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Requirements:
  • College degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field
  • Proven working experience in resource management in the creative services, marketing, or design agencies - 7-10 years
  • Deep understanding of creative development process and key creative players
  • Excellent internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience w/project management tools, such as Wrike, JIRA, etc.
  • 3 months to start with high possibility to extend.
