SUMMARY
  • Responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting a client environment. Designs and installs LANs, WANs, Wireless, Tools, Load balancer, Internet and intranet systems, and network segments.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Managing Cisco LAN/WAN/Wireless network devices. This includes the design, installation, upgrade, configuration, and troubleshooting of the corporate network & Cloud Data Centers.
  • 1 – 3 years of preferred experience of network concepts including routing protocols, spanning tree, VPC and VLAN design (example: Cisco ASR/ISR G2 routers, Cisco Nexus/Catalyst switches).
  • Install and maintain network hardware and software.
  • Analyze and isolate issues.
  • Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to users.
  • Evaluate and modify system's performance.
  • Identify user needs and Design & deploy networks.
  • Determine network and system requirements.
  • Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.
  • Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
  • Perform network address assignment.
  • Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
  • Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
  • Act as an escalation point for network issues from Network Administrators and the Service Desk.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance, inventory, and security measures associated with the company s data networks.
  • Monitor and test network performance, and provide network performance statistics and reports.
  • Managing of network security solutions, including firewall, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Participate in recommendations for future network/server upgrades.
  • Maintain integrity of network device deployment and security. Project management and implementation of mid-sized IT projects.
  • Participate in on-call rotation including off-hours and weekends.

    KNOWLEDGE, Skills and abilities
  • Configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points. Cisco IOS, VLANs, ACLs, BGP, Net flow, WLAN, LAN and WAN.
  • Solar winds NPM, Net Flow implementation, and IPAM management experience.
  • Understands virtualization concepts (VMware.)
  • Configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of F5 load balancer .
