Salesforce Lead Developer
The Salesforce Lead Developer will be responsible for leading our software development and integration efforts for the Salesforce platform. This role will work in partnership with the leads of our Distribution channels to ensure that we are providing a system that provides excellent service to our clients, helps to identify new opportunities, and creates efficient client related processes across our organization. Exceptional interpersonal skills are critical to successful performance in this role.
Responsibilities
The candidate is expected to:
  • Define, communicate and lead the overall architecture and development approach for the Salesforce platform
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and refine business requirements
  • Ensure that projects meet business requirements / goals and fulfill end-user requirements
  • Drive a quality-first approach into all aspects of the SDLC
  • Plan, design, and develop newfeatures and enhancements
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in the CRM software industry
  • Participate in system architecture design and tool set selection
  • Contribute to other development efforts not directly related to the Salesforce platform
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years configuring, customizing, and supporting the Salesforce platform
  • Certified Platform Developer I required
  • Certified App Builder and Platform Developer II certifications desired
  • Comfortable working in an Agile-based, quick-moving environment
  • Strong, proactive work ethic and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting demanding deadlines
  • Ability to clearly present technical concepts to a non-technical business audience
  • Strong understanding of web-based technologies like JSON, REST, SOAP, Web Services, etc.
  • Server-side OO development experience in Java, C# or C++
  • Possess some SQL experience
