Position Description Hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – 9:00am -5pm; Wednesday’s – 10am – 6pm. Submitted candidates must be able to start as soon as next week. Manager will be selecting from the resume, no interview, so please make sure they're aware and comfortable with the process. Responsible for performing tasks related to reception desk coverage, answering telephones, greeting the public, registering participants and assistance with the volunteers. Work typically involves performing skilled clerical and secretarial work, such as data entry and document management, file maintenance of secure and confidential records, and public contact and service. Work may also include accounting clerical tasks such as bookkeeping, keeping of financial and other important records. Work at this level may also include independent responsibility for a routine clerical process. Assignments are carried out in accordance with instructions and established routines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides front desk reception duties including answering phones, greeting customers, making appropriate referrals, and assisting staff and visitors as needed. Provide support for office publications, including updating and maintaining databases and other systems. Overall administrative duties such as mail distribution, supply orders, photocopying, faxing and filing, keeping calendars and scheduling appointments. Prepares routine correspondence and mails correspondence. May assist with volunteers and participants. Provide back-up for other staff as needed. Other duties as assigned. This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Skills Required Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel. Good telephone skills essential. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply or divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Skills Preferred
Experience Required At least 3 years of related Receptionist experience required. Must be recent! Ability to work well with a diverse population and good interpersonal skills.
