HR Operations Analyst

 Description:Summary/Objective:
Under the supervision of the Senior HR Business Partner, the HR Operations Specialist will serve as a focal point for human resources matters related to immigration, compliance, and billing; interface with key internal and external stakeholders; and assist in a wide range of matters including interpretation and application of regulations, rules and other policies.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates with outside law firm to collect information and documents to support work visa applications;
  • Assists foreign nationals with invitation letter requests and corporate immigration procedures;
  • Tracks and reports immigration and visa status of foreign national employees to promote and ensure internal and external compliance, including maintenance of H-1B public access files;
  • Processes HR and legal vendor invoices for submission to accounts payable;
  • Conducts monthly audits to ensure HR process compliance;
  • Assists international assignees with onboarding and local policy training;
  • Provides support to HR Business Partner in conducting staffing plans, tracking performance management initiatives, and other HR project management functions; and
  • Performs other duties as requested.
 
Education:
Bachelors' Degree with a minimum of three years of relevant experience
 
Qualifications:
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese, with ability to read, write, and speak in both languages with business level proficiency.
  • Attention to detail – ability to spot errors and work with complex & detailed, highly confidential information.
  • Flexibility in a variety of situations to include, but not limited to, working hours and various time zones.
  • High degree of professionalism with the ability to relate to all levels of management.
  • Proactive, flexible and able to manage a number of conflicting priorities.
  • Strong team player who is self-motivated; proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team; ability to drive and track multiple tasks and projects; dependable, and punctual; must be detailed oriented with ability to work under pressure.
  • Possesses a problem-solving attitude; excellent responsiveness; high level of resilience.
  • Prior experience working with international assignees a plus.
