SAP ECC and Ariba Integration MM Functional Lead

Job Description Your key areas of responsibilities will include:
  • Drive workshops with procurement business teams to understand their current business processes, tools & technologies
  • Should be able to provide guidance on integrating SAP ECC with Ariba Network and in addition to integrating with third party applications
  • Should be able to create solution architecture, business process document, and functional design document
  • Collaborate with technical leads and other functional consultants in the team
  • Adept at doing a requirement analysis and gap analysis
  • Able to effectively guide client on the improvement areas in terms of business process re-engineering wherever needed
  • Diagnose the solution design configured in the client's procurement tools and suggest improvements/enhancements to address their business problems
  • Support integration testing
  • User training
  • Facilitate user testing
  • Cutover, go-live and Hypercare support
  • 10+ years of consulting experience in SAP ECC MM in multiple industry verticals
  • 7+ years of rich business experience in areas of procurement, production planning, forecasting, and logistics in multiple organizations
  • At least 2+ years of experience in integrating SAP ECC MM with Ariba Network
  • Experience as a functional consultant in SAP PP is an added advantage
  • Knowledge on SAP Ariba Cloud Integration 9 or SAP Business Suite Add-On for Ariba Network
  • Dynamic seasoned result oriented procurement professional with right blend of consulting and business experience
  • A thought leader in Procurement space
  • Well-rounded experience spanning North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific regions
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Experience in delivering / leveraging technology-based solutions for enhancing Procurement efficiency and effectiveness would be a definite advantage. You should be a thought leader in the Procurement space, someone who easily commands the respect of customer CPOs. You should be intimately aware of the current and future challenges our customers face in this space and have a strong streak of innovation as part of your core DNA.
  • Strong knowledge of core Procurement concepts and principles and an intimate understanding of current trends in this area
  • Excellent customer handling skills and the ability to win customers trust and confidence based on your expertise in the Procurement area
    Good experience in leading and managing teams, especially those that are geographically distributed
  • Uncompromising attitude towards achieving results and an infectious level of energy
Preferred Educational Qualifications Graduate in Engineering (any discipline) with a post-graduation in Business Administration.
