Position Details:

CT Technologist II performs routine and complex Computerized Axial Tomographic Imaging procedures on ambulatory, and hospital patients in Hospital Setting as requested by a physician or other licensed provider and under general supervision of a Radiologist for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols. In most cases the CTs are not pre- scheduled. The technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedure to the patient and be sure they are comfortable and at ease during the exam and provide care to the patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist.

Candidate Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Program

Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT) certification

Prefer candidates to be Certified Basic BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life
Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Completion of all required schooling for position

Licensed Radiology Technician specializing in Radiology credentialed from the Texas Medical

Board
The ideal candidate must be able to work independently in a fast paced department located next to the ED, challenging environment while completing required imaging procedures as prescribed
