Description: Data Entry Specialist- Perform administrative and clerical duties for the Supportive Housing Connection (SHC) unit. Enter and upload data regarding tenants, landlords and other parties into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and the Agency's property management software. Respond promptly to internal and external requests for assistance. Assist with mailing, emailing, and faxing documents. Verify document receipt and log their receipt into Excel spreadsheets including the Agency's property management software. Communicate with landlords, social service providers, and others to obtain correct data, missing documents or missing information via phone, email or US mail. Ability to organize and accomplish multiple assignments simultaneously: prepare accurate, concise, and informative correspondences to multiple parties; respond to inquires in a professional and timely manner; interpret information and make appropriate recommendations; communicate effectively orally, in writing, and to listen actively; establish effective working relationships with HMFA and Client staff, other agencies and groups active in the field of special needs housing, and the general public.
