Position Description: This position is responsible for the daily benefits operations, managing benefits reporting and billing, and assisting the Total Rewards Manager in administering the organization's compensation system. - Keeps well-informed of the provisions, policies, and procedures of each benefit plan offered by the organization, researches employee questions and consults with appropriate vendors and/or external consultants to resolve. - Ensures compliance with government rules and regulations on employer offered benefit plan. - Manages benefit reporting and vendor billing/reconciliation and electronically updates vendor's respective online systems and Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB). - Plans and facilitates annual Benefit Fairs and other benefit related events. - Manages the organization's leave programs (FMLA, PLOA, STD) - All other job-related duties as assigned

Skills Required: - Proficiency in HIPAA, COBRA, ADAAA and current benefit laws and regulations - Proficiency in all aspects of Health Care Reform (PPACA) - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, expert Excel Skills - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing - Ability to manager time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing and prioritizing - Ability to use sound judgment and maintain the strictest of confidentiality

Experience Required: - A minimum of five years of experience performing benefits administration functions. - A minimum of one year experience utilizing Oracle Advanced Benefits or a similar software program - Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.

Education Required: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources or related field preferred - Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or ability to achieve in two years
