Description: Greystone Park Psych Hospital Below are the functions: • Daily mail check from the post office and distribution. • Reviews, sorts, and routes incoming correspondence. • Assist department in requesting office supplies and materials from the storehouse. • Acts as departmental receptionist. • Answer departmental phone number. • Daily recording of all purchase order request received in the Business Office is timely manner. • Personally prepares letters on routine matters which may or may not be reviewed or signed by the Business Manager. • Type correspondence and reports of a complex and difficult nature. • Ability to act as confidential secretary to Business Manager and to relieve him of office detail. • Ability to use correct English, to spell correctly, and to use correct sentence and paragraph structure. • Communicate with visitors, schedule appointments, and process requests for information in accord with established procedures. • Maintain confidential, follow-up, and other files.
