Job description
 
PURPOSE:
 
The purpose of this position is to prepare U.S. federal compliance relative to controlled foreign corporations and controlled foreign partnerships, assist with quarterly tax provisions for external financial reporting, and to ensure department goals and objectives are achieved, all in alignment with DaVita's Mission and Core.  This position primarily performs as an individual contributor working within our tax department.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
*Prepare U.S. federal compliance relative to controlled foreign corporations and controlled foreign partnerships.
*Prepare reconciliation of income tax accounts.
*Prepare specific items for inclusion in quarterly financial statement provision.
*Assist in administrating expatriate tax function.
*Assist with work allocation and prioritization decisions.
*Interact with other departments and explain and resolve complex tax issues.
*Perform a wide variety of recurring and non-recurring moderately complex tax functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 
*BA in Accounting. CPA or CPA candidate preferred. MST a plus.
*Prior 2-4 years' experience in a CPA firm or corporation in tax-related functions.
