Brokerage is the marketing name for the company's global banking and global markets businesses.
The BookMap Control team is a centralized group within the Middle Office that oversees the day-to-day operations of the BookMap trading book application as well as the ongoing controls and development. The team supports over 2,000 direct users of the application across Front Office, Finance, Market Risk, Middle Office and Technology as well as consumer groups who leverage the data.
The BookMap application is a key control tool which sits up front to the trading book creation and maintenance process across all Global Markets and Corporate Treasury and Investments trading systems. The application captures a comprehensive population of trading book data across all trading platforms (70+) and serves as the authoritative source of this reference data information.
BookMap drives critical processes for Market Risk, Credit Risk, Financial, Front Office and Regulatory Capital Reporting. The data quality and controls around the application is extremely vital to a broad array of functions within the organization.
Provide daily support to BookMap user groups which includes guiding them through the application and responding to general queries.
Identify control and enhancement opportunities to systematically maintain high quality data.
Perform daily control reconciliations and data integrity checks to ensure the Book population is correct and complete.
Review and approve requests in BookMap's processing queue to ensure timely approval and processing of new book requests and book changes.
Compile various metrics and MIS reporting used to provide summarized statistics to senior management.
Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) related to the development of the application.
Generate BookMap documentation for new procedures and update existing documentation to ensure they are current.
Participate in and lead meetings with various levels of BookMap stakeholders
Work closely/coordination of work with the Chester UK based team.
Participate in ad-hoc projects related to data quality initiatives and system integrations.
Relevant Bachelor Degree in Business/Finance or Information Systems
Minimum 3-4 years work experience in similar or comparable role
Previous experience with project management work/ownership
Superb attention to detail with strong analytical skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to interact with individuals at all levels and build strong relationships
Demonstrates ability to understand complex end-to-end process and workflows
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office macros and VBA
Strong project management skills

Provides general team guidance on complex transactions. May provide input to recruiting and hiring and performance management processes. BA preferred or substantially equivalent experience.
