Job description
Responsibilities include:
*Prepare reports of collateral transactions or balances to satisfy the following requirements:
     -Tax withholding on the interest paid to counterparties who placed cash collateral as credit
      support on OTC-derivatives trades.
     -Reporting of taxable interest payments to IRS and to counterparties.
     -Collateral disclosure in the derivatives note of the SEC forms 10Q/10K.
     -Reporting of covered transactions subject to Regulation W, Section 23A.
     -Collateral balances offsetting derivatives' exposures.
*Work with Collateral Operations teams to analyze the collateral management workflow, systems and processes, and ensure complete and accurate reporting
  Work with Finance, Corporate Tax, Risk, Legal and Enterprise Reporting teams to understand changes to existing regulation and stay abreast of
new regulations that   impact the team; Analyze, document and address
their regulatory reporting requirements by producing reports from collateral systems.
*Participate in IT initiatives and transition projects for the Regulatory Reporting team as the collateral systems are integrated to target infrastructure. Involvement  will include the scoping, documentation and communication of requirements, as well as systems testing, training and implementation.
*Work across other lines of business, participate in process risk assessments and the rollout of standard Risk Frame Work on controls and processes, and determine gaps  and exposure.
*Design and publish appropriate metrics for operations control.
Required skills:
*Tax knowledge
*Strong understanding of financial markets with preferably more than 5 years of experience in any of the following disciplines:
*Valuations, OTC derivatives or fixed income lifecycle, regulatory reporting, operations, collateral management; as well as balance sheet
attestation and general   ledger reconciliations.
*Strong data mining and analysis skills.
*Proficient in MS Excel.
*Methodical and organized mindset, with attention to detail in order to ensure data completeness, accuracy and integrity in reporting.
*Ability to present issues/ideas of moderate complexity in an easy to understand manner.
*Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
Desired skills:
*Graduate degree and/or CPA certification.
*Regulatory Reporting exposure.
