Business Systems Analyst

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates process engineering and business flow assessments to ensure appropriate engineering of solutions
- Assists Development team in converting front-end application requirements into functional web service requirements.
- Serves as lead conduit between developers, architects and designers, and with internal business partner and/or vendor companies
- Provides technical/functional consultative direction in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user meet user requirements
- Leads cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems solutions
- Supports team by assisting with: functionality questions, testing, implementation, and other deployment and delivery functions, as assigned
- Elicits business requirements from partners and translates them into functional specifications and assists in technical design
- Provides guidance and direction to less experienced business systems analysts

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS/Engineering/Technology or Business Administration related field or equivalent experience/training.
- 7+ years of relevant technical or business work experience
- Advanced expertise in SDLC
- Experience working as an analyst with web services functional and non-functional requirements is a MUST.
- Expert ability to plan strategically for current and future business environments, including future technology and business design changes to create flexible solutions
- Expert knowledge of system flows, engineering documentation, tools and architecture concepts
- Must be well organized, thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment, leverage best practices, and most importantly, innovate through any problem with a can-do attitude
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Airline industry knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL commands for table queries is a plus
- Ability to peruse system logs for problem resolution is a plus
- Need for this person to be good with analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities.
-Experience in business systems analyst role in the space of contact centers would be great
