Scrum Master for IT Data Strategy Foundation

Position Overview
Client's Information Technology, Program and Project Management group is currently seeking a professional who will work as a Scrum master to support in IT Data Strategy Foundation project and additional projects as needed.

The Scrum Master will be responsible for working directly with a team across the company implementing the Client Agile Methodology. This position requires an experienced Scrum Master with a strong understanding of and hands-on experience with Agile Methods, including Scrum. This individual will be responsible for facilitating the Client Agile Methodology, practices and ceremonies

Responsibilities include:
When engaging with an Agile Project, the Scrum Master has three overall goals in addition to removing team impediments and facilitating Agile practices:
1. Facilitate the creation of a self-organized, self-managed team that can identify and deliver the work that can be completed in a time-boxed Iteration
2. Training, or support the Agile Coaches training, of the team on the Freddie's Agile methodology, processes and controls
3. Ensure the project team adheres to the Client Agile Project controls
The scrum master should be able to advocate benefits for the methodology can support agile coach or act as one to the teams new to agile methodology

This person will be the will work with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Architects and other offsite teams.

Required skills
• Three or more years of explicit experience as an Agile Scrum Master of an Agile delivery team, preferably in a variety of situations including large organizations
• Five or more years of experience with size estimations and complexity of the work. Facilitate discussions and facilitate alternatives or different approaches.
• Five or more years of experience in Project life cycle activities on infrastructure, development and maintenance projects
• Five or more years of direct experience in one or more aspects of Information Technology (Software design/ development, IT Architecture or other related IT areas)
• Understand backlog tracking, Burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a dispersed delivery environment, ability to make Agile work in distributed environments
• The individual should have strong written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications
• Minimum of Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP) required
• Five or more years of direct experience in one or more aspects of Information Technology (IT Infrastructure Engineering and Operations, IT Architecture, Software design/ development, or other related IT areas)
