Develop recommendations related to pricing strategy, offer products, product enhancements and operational efficiencies as part of large multi-year IT project. Interacts directly with internal and external customers in order to obtain market intelligence, understand and offer competitive execution, further relationships, and execute transactions to provide liquidity. Provides resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems. Solutions are innovative, thorough, and practicable. Works under limited direction Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives. Represents the Single Family Pricing organization as the principal contact as a subject matter expert and project leader. Interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines. College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred. Typically has 5 - 7 years related experience. *Position Overview The Pricing Execution Cash Product Owner position is part of the Single Family Business Analytics organization and more specifically, the Single Family Cash Desk at Client. The Single Family Cash Desk is the customer facing group that interacts directly with the full spectrum of customers that sell to Client via the Cash Window. The Pricing Execution Cash Product Owner role is responsible for providing direction to IT, Middle Office, Front Office and other Client stakeholders supporting the multi-year PE Cash project to modernize the Single Family Cash Desk.
Responsibilities Include:
•Develops recommendations related to pricing strategy, offer products and product enhancements, and operational efficiencies
•Interacts directly with Internal/External customers in order to obtain market intelligence, understand and offer competitive execution, further relationships, and execute transactions
•Acts as Proxy Product owner for PE Cash PO by independently providing guidance to project team members to further agreed upon project goals
•Provides resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems relating to systems such as the Selling System, Gallagher, PMA, CDW and other EUCs related to the cash business line. Solutions are innovative, thorough, and practicable
•Represents the organization as proxy Product Owner in meetings and often performs project leadership role •Participates or leads activities that support system development & deployment (e.g. process redesign, Day 1 setup, risk & controls documentation, user acceptance testing)
•Interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines
•Performs other duties as assigned
*Qualifications:
•College degree in business, finance, related field or equivalent work experience
•7+ years of primary or secondary mortgage market experience
•Proficient in documenting risk & controls (e.g. policies, procedures, process flows, risk and control matrices)
•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products (Word, Excel and Access)
Preferred Skills
•2-5 years of technology implementation and development experience
•Knowledge of proprietary Client systems such as Selling System, Gallagher, PMA, CDW, GCP a plus •Understanding of Single Family Pricing policies, procedures & processes
•Demonstrated project management skills •Demonstrated ability to crate & improve upon existing processes using best practices, in a well-controlled manner
•Strong problem solving skills; Responds to issues and questions in a timely manner thru resolution and/or escalation •Strategic thinker with the ability to independently determine and develop approach to solutions
•Self-starter who works effectively independently, within a team, and across departments with employees at varying levels.
