We are looking for an experienced marketing manager to be based in our Scottsdale, AZ office. An integral part of a small team, you will focus on bringing new acquisition and engagement marketing campaigns to life – from concept to creation to implementation to tracking/reporting results. The ideal candidate will have B2B financial services marketing experience – card marketing a plus. You will manage multiple projects end-to-end, including: · Targeting – mining data to find the best opportunities – including estimating return · Campaign set up and execution – using various internal systems and external agencies. This is highly process driven, so strong attention to detail is critical. · Select, brief and guide third-party agencies to deliver high-quality tactics that drive results, while adhering to established brand guidelines and messaging. Demonstrable experience creating compelling, unique messaging required. · Champion tactics through multiple, layered reviews – including internal and external; using a combination of various webbased systems as well as manual, in-person review sessions. Ability to find consensus. · Partner with various groups/divisions who may either be impacted or necessary supporters of a particular campaign to ensure they are engaged, committed and have the support resources they need – ie, talking points, scripts, etc. · Define, confirm and secure distribution lists appropriate for each campaign. · Ensure campaign tactics launch on time, on/under budget. · Regularly track, report and present results – open rates, click rates, conversion rates, increased activity, engagement, etc. · Analyze results to make informed recommendations for subsequent/future activities. · All process/administrative aspects of assigned projects, including Campaign Operations, budget submission, approval routing/tracking, list management, results tracking, etc. – either directly or indirectly. · Other projects/assignments as needed.
 
Team: Card and Financial Services Purpose of Team: this team is 100% focused on the PayPal business debit card. This generates about $100M net new revenue for the company every year. This team gets people to use the card, stay with the card and continue to use the card Reason for Posting: increased work load, need someone to assist with marketing
 
Typical Task Breakdown/Rhythm: 30% of the time will be in meetings, 30% will be administrative type work (multiple systems that are used in order to get campaigns reviewed) 40% truly working on the campaigns, writing, consolidating and editing them Interaction Level with Team: Highly interactive role with the team. This person will be interacting with internal and external stakeholders to the team (legal department, Bancorp)
 
This personw ill be very hands on and independaent and ownt heir projects. They will elarn how to take their projects thorugh ac omplex matrix environment. Even though this is a highly successful product, there is a giant growth opportunity for this team and are looking to double the size of the portfolio in the next 3 years. This person would be taking a legacy product and have the opportunity to expand it.
 
Must be able to work independently – with remote managerial guidance and tertiary onsite manager – and manage multiple, often-changing projects. This position requires strong project management skills, coupled with the ability to drive creative development. Colleagues may work in multiple, global time zones – so flexibility is necessary. Years of Experience: At least 5 years relevant experience in a similar position. Agency experience a plus. Degrees or Certifications: Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, English, business or similar. This person needs to be able to write marketing copy. Best vs. Average: Successful completion – on time and on/under budget – of assigned campaigns, tasks and programs. Results/effectiveness of campaigns/tactics based on pre-defined metrics for each. 360 feedback from colleagues
