 Candidate will be responsible for
  • Candidate will support remote SW/HW development teams for power and performance analysis, regressions, and debug.
  • Candidate will assemble and maintain HW systems and maintain pooled HW resource management.
  • This person should be comfortable with firmware and image updates for mobile devices as well as a basic understanding of kernel and driver build environments.
  • Candidate will directly support power and performance evaluation in support of remote teams when remote access is not feasible.
 
Candidate will be responsible for Required skillsets:
  1. Must be a strong team player with above average communication skills.
  2. Some experience in writing and debugging userspace level native applications using C and C++
  3. Some experience in writing android (Java) and/or ios (Xcode) applications development and debug
  4. Able to understand basics of the Android OS and computer architecture fundamentals
  5. Basic understanding of:
  1. VNC
  2. SSH X11 forwarding
  3. TCP/IP networking
  4. PC Hardware
  1. Able to modify, configure, compile and flash the Linux kernel and OS images into the development board.
  2. Able to write/modify scripts using Python, shell, and Perl
  3. Able to work in the system lab environment, support and assist the remote team member's day to day requests
 
Desirable skillsets:
  1. Basic understanding of front-end and back-end interaction with the database such as MySQL/MongoDB
  2. Understanding use of power and performance tools(eg. NI DAQ, Power meter, Oscilloscope, streamline, gatord)
  3. Familiarity with continuous intefgration systems (Jenkins, Electric Commander, etc.)
