Development Engineer for Automation Tests

The Development Engineer for Automation Tests will be responsible for maximizing quality assurance and have a successful track record of product delivery in a fast paced dynamic environment.

Job Duties and Experience:
  • Design and develop QA Automation tests platforms (tools, technologies and processes) with the goal of 100% Automated testing and reduction of regression test cycles.
  • Have a hands on approach to QA processes, test strategies & plans.
  • Develop QA automation tools and processes for complex, very highly scalable distributed systems.
  • Assist in creating the QA project toolkit (e.g. templates for requirements traceability, test plans, cycles, cases, scripts and standardized reports, such as a root-cause bug report and a test execution progress report).
  • Provide subject matter expert knowledge on Test Automation, Quality Assurance software, tools, and best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional organizations, project teams and clients to develop project schedules, execute test plans and cases and deliver high quality products.
  • Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process.

  • 1-2 years of Load testing experience with LoadRunner tool required.
  • 1-2 years of web services testing with SoapUI/ReadyAPI tool required.
  • GUI testing experience, with Selenium is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of development for Test Automation, QA processes including handling QA for highly agile development.
  • Proficient in QA metrics and monitoring projects based on these metrics.
  • Experience with doing QA for highly scalable, distributed and high performance systems.
  • Experience with creating Test plan document and writing test cases.

Masters or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant QA Automation experience.
