Pinterest is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to drive critical projects in Infrastructure and Data Engineering. The TPM will partner with key stakeholders to build the project plan/milestones and drive execution, as well as own the projects and ensure successful completion within given timelines.

Primarily responsible for driving critical project(s) that improve reliability, security and efficiency of Pinterest infrastructure by partnering with teams in Engineering.
Build realistic project plans, build alignment across teams with respect to deliverables, proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
Define and drive key success metrics and communicate progress to executive stakeholders.

Skills:
  • Knowledge and understanding of infrastructure systems, instance and service life-cycles.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully driving time-sensitive, cross-functional engineering projects.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, organizational awareness, cross-functional engineering projects.
  • Experience and knowledge of agile software development methodologies and productivity tools.

Education:
BS in a technical discipline and 3+ years' experience working as a Technical Project Manager or Technical Program Manager driving software infrastructure projects.
