Receptionist (Canadian Job)

Work Timings : 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (With 1 Hour unpaid lunch.)
  • Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate Verifone personnel. Monitor visitor access and issue visitor tags when required. Take information from sales persons as necessary.
  • Direct phone calls from Verifone customers, clients and un-associated persons to the appropriate team member or department. Take messages, transfer calls to voicemail, and seek out information as appropriate in order to respond to inquiries. Field unsolicited calls from telemarketers and salespersons.
  • Open, sort, and review mail. Distribute mail to the appropriate person in VeriFone. Schedule courier pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Provide support and back up for several functions within the Admin Department. Such as open/close projects as directed by the Project Management group.
  • Maintain the central resource in Outlook for the booking of meeting rooms. Book meeting rooms for internal staff meetings, and meetings with partners, vendors and suppliers.
  • Assist in tracking of employee attendance by filing requests in designated files and corporate shared calendar.
  • Order coffee and dairy supplies as needed. Maintain stock levels and adjust standing orders as required.
  • Maintain office supplies and order as needed.
  • Perform overflow administrative tasks for all departments following the timeline and deadline given.

  • 3 Years' experience in a services environment.
  • Excellent MS Office skills with particular emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Good keyboarding skills
