 Job Title:  Contractor, IT Project Manager
The Contractor, IT Project Manager is directly responsible for managing projects for Enterprise within the Infrastructure technology organization using Agile/Scrum philosophies to include the implementation of new products; enhancement or upgrades of existing applications; technology optimizations, and driving project prioritization.  This role will be attractive to a seasoned project manager who has significant experience in driving technology change programs across multiple stakeholder teams.

Areas of Responsibility:
  • Manages projects within the Enterprise Backlog providing status reporting to management, stakeholders and executive staff regarding the backlog's overall status
  • Supports the implementation and development of Enterprise initiatives using the Agile/Scrum principles and methodology
  • Facilitates sprint planning, daily scrums, stakeholder meetings, software demonstrations, and retrospectives
  • Develops and maintains all project documentation required for successful delivery of the project and for records retention purposes in accordance with organizational policies
  • Identifies and actively manages risk according to impact and probability, escalating when necessary
  • Manages the process of ensuring the operational runbook is updated and submitted for approval ahead of deployment
  • Establishes and maintains positive, working relationships with peers,  team members, project stakeholders, resources, and executive staff        
  • Experienced with project management tools; MS Visio, MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Agile/Scrum experience managing mid to large projects
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S) Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or MIS
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is desired
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is required
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is desired
