This PPC Specialist position is a potential 4 month contract-to-hire opportunity. Slightly entry level. A year of experience would be great (even if an intern).
iMatrix is currently seeking a PPC Specialist who will take personal responsibility for the success of new and existing client PPC and/or Retargeting campaigns and make them her or his own. The PPC Specialist Position reports to the Manager of the Professional Services Department. In this position you will be responsible for all tasks related to client PPC and/or Retargeting campaigns including keyword research, CPC, conversions, bidding, landing page CTA, ad copy and campaign management. The successful candidate will be passionate about great client service and will show it in their actions, their attitude, and their execution.
The PPC Specialist participates in all aspects of the client paid search campaigns, including initial planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting. The PPC Specialist is responsible for day to day progress of client marketing campaigns and ensuring timely completion and success of related tasks. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for:
- Work collaboratively in team environment with Account Managers and inter-departmentally to ensure deliver of highest quality services and greatest value for our clients.
- Manage all aspects of the SEM lifecycle, including keyword research, account creation, billing setup, campaign management, bid management, DKI, Multi-Channel Attribution, ad copy, landing pages, automation and staying up-to-date on best practices for SEM strategy.
- Clearly communicate SEO and PPC best practices to other teams & individuals within the organization and how to apply them to our clients' sites.
- Analyze keyword costs, ad copy, landing pages, and cost per conversion Identify and inform management of client opportunities, potential risks, and other key issues.
- Manage PPC campaigns and set up reporting and ROI tracking within internal tracking systems and Google Analytics.
- Conduct competitive research on a regular basis.
- Communicate with clients via ticketing system, phone, or other electronic medium.
- Collaborate with Account Managers in the implementation of campaigns for effective reporting and return on investment (ROI) measurement.
- Regular internal reporting on client account metrics, billing, and aggregate performance.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance and continually make improvement recommendations to the Professional Services Team.
- Properly link AdWords with Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics.
- Interface regularly with the Strategic Partner Manager at Google.
- Be in in-house expert on all things PPC/AdWords.

- Assist client with questions regarding DNS, domain transfers, and perform basic email trouble-shooting.
Education and Experience:
- 6mo's to 1 year experience in an SEO / PPC account management role overseeing multiple client accounts.
- Google AdWords* Certification, mandatory.
- Google Analytics* Certification, preferred.
*Must have in-depth experience managing campaigns with both platforms.

- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, vlookup, statistical modeling, etc.).
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of internal and external clients (business, creative, medical, and technical contacts at all levels).
- Ability to implement appropriate conversion and analytics tags on client websites.
- Solid understanding of SEO practices and implementation.
- Able to work independently and efficiently in order to meet organization goals.
- Able to deliver high quality work to clients, meeting all deadlines.
- Self–motivated, detail oriented team player who can work professionally within a diverse team.
- Able to promptly and professionally respond to email and phone calls.
- Experience with WYSIWYG editors.
- Photoshop, HTML and CSS experience is required.
- Understanding of DNS, domain management, and email setup is preferred.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Track record of professionalism and integrity.
- Must be able to easily get along with others and be professional in your relationships with co-workers and clients.
