  We're looking for an experienced technical writer and training content developer to help us take our internal information security training and awareness program to the next level. As a technical writer and training content developer for the Global Information Security team, you'll compose newsletter articles, online training courses, digital media, emails, and knowledge base articles to help keep eBay information safe. You'll work with stakeholders across the globe to deliver content that is accurate, engaging, and effective.

What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in technical communication, writing/composition, computer science, or other technical field. Specific cybersecurity education, certification, and experience preferred.
5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years with a Master's degree.

Very strong writing, editing, and formatting skills
Ability to empathize with your audiences to understand what they need to know
Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely
Ability to listen, collaborate, and to give and accept constructive feedback
Working knowledge of HTML and wiki markup
Ability to navigate complex information sources and to research independently
Ability to ramp up quickly on new software tools
Passion for security and a great user experience

This team is looking for someone to summarize trainings and documents. This person should be knowledgeable in many areas. Ability to learn quickly, be resourceful.

Day to day: develop and summarize training materials, edit content in docs, arrange meetings, create timelines and complete content by the deadline. Draft security alerts and internal communications. Document reviews, upload docs in Wiki. Should be self motivated and social-able.
