System Security Administrator

Seeking a System Security Administrator to provide system security and administration expertise and support to our federal agency client. This work will be performed at our client's site in Washington, DC. This role requires strong knowledge of federal information technology systems security and administration. This role will support a team System Security Engineers (SSE) and Cyber Security Engineers (CSE) in performing Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Privacy Threshold Analyses (PTA) of federal IT systems. Duties include:
  • Assist SSEs and CSEs in understanding and analyzing IT system architectures
  • Assist SSEs and CSEs as requested in creating and managing PIA and PTA artifacts
  • Assist SSEs and CSEs as requested in developing and delivering system compliancy reports
  • Assist SSEs and CSEs as requested to maintain, format, and input system status records for compliance reporting
  • Support the development and maintenance of training materials
  • Support corporate business development activities, including proposals
Minimum requirements
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, of other engineering or technical discipline (required)
  • 5 years of cyber security experience
  • 3 years of experience support federal agency cyber security programs
  • 3 years of experience supporting Assessment and Authorization (A&A) or Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of federal information systems
  • Must have experience in developing training materials for various presentation media, such as written, visual and web based classes
  • Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance
Desired Qualifications
  • VA experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills with experience interfacing with government officials
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience supporting corporate business development activities, including proposals
