HMS Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager with significant writing and communications qualifications to lead a high visibility project providing support for Enterprise Project Management Office action item management and reporting, as well as oversee the development and deployment of related SharePoint sites in support of our nation's Veterans.
This is a remote position, with a preference of having the PM local to the Washington DC area. This position will be managing a team of IT professionals who perform input, tracking, management, and reporting of executive level action items. This position will also oversee the work of a separate project manager and their team who will be managing the related SharePoint development and deployment tasks. The candidate must have extensive experience with diverse IT projects, including SDLC, and with a particular focus on high-level and high-visibility communications and writing. Must have experience handling staff, schedule, tasking, and financial aspects of high-visibility projects. Must have expert level command of the English language, with excellent written communication skills. Must have proven experience and success in leading teams in high-visibility and high-stress situations, including interacting with C-level federal government personnel. Must be experienced in using SharePoint and all of the Microsoft Office applications.
