CYBER SECURITY SPECIALIST, SR (SCA TEST TEAM LEAD)

Seeking a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to lead Security Controls Assessment at various client sites across the United States and provide cyber security subject matter expertise to our federal agency client. This position will include 30 - 40% travel to perform onsite testing and may include trips to our client in Washington, DC on occasion. This role requires expert knowledge of the federal A&A process, Security Controls Assessments and cyber security.

Additional duties include:
  • Provide SCA Test Team leadership to a team of up to 5 staff
  • Lead team in planning and preparation, testing and post testing phase of SCAs
  • Perform documentation reviews of system documentation and controls assessment
  • Perform kickoff and close out briefings at client site
  • Maintain open communication with government site personnel and government task leadership
  • Provide leadership and guidance to test teams deployed to perform SCA testing
  • Lead team creating Security Assessment Reports and briefing government client on test results
  • Support corporate business development activities, including proposals
Minimum requirements:
  • BS/BA degree (required)
  • 10 years of cyber security experience
  • 5 years of experience support federal agency cyber security programs
  • 5 years of experience performing Security Controls Assessments of federal information systems
  • Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance
  • Must have experience in developing training materials for various presentation media, such as written, visual and web based classes.
Desired Qualifications:
  • CISSP preferred
  • VA experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills with experience interfacing government officials
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience supporting corporate business development activities, including proposals
