Position Responsibilities:
  • Maintains PFMEAs, Control Plans and Process Flow Diagrams to ensure that vital controls are being implemented for preventative actions, corrective actions and continual improvement
  • Creates Reports for Customer, Warranty, and Internal Issues.
  • Maintain Quality Records and Trend Data; i.e. GP-12, Internal/External GCA, Birth Certificates, etc.
  • Conduct Seat Capability Studies, utilizing MiniTab.
  • Issue Quality Alerts / Process Alerts for customer issues and post on the floor / upload to LPS to communicate to the production staff.
  • Issue Quality Notices (QN) to Suppliers for non-conforming material.
  • Support Launch Events
  • Maintains calibration records for Quality Laboratory equipment and coordinates with third-party.
  • Drive continuous improvements to meet first run capability, reduce IPPM's and Cost of Poor Quality.
  • Support the Kaizen process (Fast Response) to investigate and follow-up on corrective actions for customer related issues.
  • Performs any other duties required in pursuance of the function of this position or as directed by Quality Manager.
  • Follow all IATF16949 procedures.

Position Requirements:
  • Two year technical degree or four year college degree and/or related experience.
  • Good communications and organizational skills.
  • Problem solving and SPC techniques experience.
