Implementation Specialist - Ethernet

Overall Purpose: Support roll out of Ethernet access to cell sites nationwide in support of Client Mobility network. Roles & Responsibilities: 1) Responsible for ordering and tracking Optewan Ethernet Circuits. Orders will be placed using USRP-FR and GIOM and tracked via spreadsheet and Service Order Tracking System (SOTS). 2) Will be responsible to report on orders issued, order tracking, and issue trouble tickets and work with IT Teams for resolution as needed. 3) Must be highly organized, able to work independently as well as part of the ordering team and the larger project team.

The position will be responsible for deploying, upgrading, repairing and optimizing the WMS cellular service on cruise ships throughout the world. The technician will need an understanding of international traveling, embarkation and disembarkation of cruise ships, networking, RF, face to face training on usage and reporting, communications with ship representatives, vendors and service providers. Person must have strong written and oral skills and be able to work with ships personnel. We have a team of Site Specialist that travel globally and spend over 60% of their time in the field. In addition, they have processed that must be completed in the office (including but not limited to documentation, travel request, expense report, repair support, level 2 technical support, equipment testing, and equipment requisition. If we do not have this position, we will not be able to take care of our customers and grow our business.
