Production Associate II 1st shift

3-5 years Experience in role. The primary function of this position is to issue parts from a location and kit into stacks for respective product line. The incumbent will prepare material for transportation, deliver it to the shipping dock area, receive material from vendors, verify count, check part numbers and mark the packing list received.

"1.Issues material from stock location and kits material from daily release and pick list
2.Prepares kits for transportation, delivers to dock area, and prepares appropriate packing list
3.Verifies part number and quantity received, then stores parts into proper locations
4.Records locations to the material stored with inventory control system
5.Keeps dock and storage area in clean and safe operating condition
6.Fill debits for materials being shipped to vendor for outside processing
7.Utilizes fork lift, hand trucks, 1-ton crane, and other material handling equipment as required
8.Checks equipment daily for servicing oil, brakes, gas, and water
9.Specific Value Stream functions
10. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements on part and
work order sheets
11. Verifies specifications by measuring completed component and ensuring they match the work order
12. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
13. Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting
orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies "

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; stoop; squat; reach to or below shoulder level; lift; carry; push; pull; and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to climb; and reach above shoulder level. The employee is regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to 50 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to push/pull greater than 50 pounds. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception. -P
