A Major Financial Firm located in Livingston, NJ has an immediate contract opportunity for a Project Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION
o Candidate should be experienced in programs and managing execution from inception to delivery
o Candidate should have previous experience managing systems integration projects
o Candidate should be a self-starter, detail oriented and be able to navigate through multiple lines of businesses, stakeholders and manage delivery across multiple technology teams
o Ability to work independently and remain flexible and organized throughout projects in a fast paced environment
o Strong analytical background, problem solving and communication skills is necessary
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including MS Project, SharePoint and Visio is necessary
o Experience with worksheets/data sets, SQL, writing VLOOKUP formulas, manipulating data with PivotTables, and presenting results
o Experience with requirements gathering, user stories, and working alongside developers and testers

PM to engage with our various stakeholders within IT Security and Infrastructure focusing on:
1. Upgrading an enterprise vulnerability scanning tool, Implementation of a new vulnerability management/reporting module as part of the enterprise configuration management database (CMDB) and systems integration between vulnerability management scanner and CMDB.
2. Implementation of advanced analytics platform for enhanced security monitoring capabilities.
3. Implementation of end user computing application security platform.
4. Unstructured Data Governance project

The Project Manager will report into the ePMO project management lead reporting into the head IT Security.

He/she must possess a strong sense of project management rigor, leadership, organization and communication with the ability to respond to a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities Include:
o Work closely with stakeholders to identify needs, gather requirements, develop user stories, and propose business solutions
o Work closely with the Software Development team to ensure user requirements, stories, and acceptance criteria are well understood
o Produce project materials at all stages of project development lifecycle - current state flows, detailed business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, and user training materials
o Lead project coordination effort with major business and technology stakeholders
o Work with technology and business owners to ensure initiatives are properly prioritized
o Manage timely execution of the plan and provide regular updates to project stakeholders
o Overall project ownership (deliverables, quality, schedule, and budget) for the stated project.
o Responsible for the project plan creation and any subsequent changes.
o Will work with other PMs as required to achieve the desired program goals.
o Will coordinate the activities of SMEs, and do follow-ups as required. • Conduct project meetings, record meeting minutes and action items, and follow-up on action items.
o Adhere to all of project management standards and EPMO policies as required.
o Submit project purchases and track actual project costs vs. budget.
o Prepare weekly project flash reports and weekly status reports.
o Create or edit technical project documentation as required including data flows, architecture diagrams, test scripts, etc.

Required skills/experience: • 3+ Years of IT project management experience. • 3+ Years of experience managing large IT infrastructure projects.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to manage detailed tasks efficiently and effectively.
o Ability to multi-task effectively.
o Packaged Software experience: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio.
o College degree and/or PMP certification.
