Tool Crib Attendant E&R

Location: Piedmont, South Carolina
Major purpose: The Tool Crib Attendant will perform duties to support on time delivery and pickup of customer and vendor products.

Major responsibilities and duties:
• Assist in daily and weekly audits and counts
• Data entry in the completion of information obtained from inventory counts
• Ensure that proper reporting deadlines are met
• Work with other operations departments in researching problems or any other inventory related issues.
• Assist the Inventory Supervisor as needed
• Supervised by Inventory Supervisor
• Performs routine duties where some judgment is required with a designated level of independence. Work is performed under defined and uniform procedures, when established.
• Equipment: Reasonable care and operation of standard office equipment such as workstation.
• Software and Files: High level of responsibility in data maintenance. Proper procedures will minimize the risk of data loss which translates to loss of income due to operation ceasing.
• Reporting: Failure to report major procedural problems may result in loss of profit. Some loss is possible, but exercise of somewhat more than ordinary care can prevent loss.
• Business Contacts: Responsible for maintaining good employee relations. Contacts with personnel including Managers and Supervisors.

Requirements: High School degree or equivalent

• Previous warehouse/inventory experience is preferred
• Data entry skills required
• knowledge of audit reporting
• Able to operate warehouse equipment such as Forklifts is a must
